Rohit Sharma, who featured 21st in the list of Times 50 Most Desirable Men of 2014 decided to surprise his long-time girlfriend Ritika by whisking her away to Borivali Sports Club, a place where he first began playing serious cricket at the age of 11. On April 28, Sharma who was in his home town for Mumbai Indians’ match against Rajasthan Royals took the opportunity to propose to Ritika.

Sharma has been linked with several starlets like Sofia Hayat on numerous occasions  but this engagement should put an end to all the speculations revolving around his personal life. He recently celebrated his 28th birthday on April 30, 2015 with many of his fellow cricketers wishing him and it now looks like wishes will continue to pour in.
